What Our Schools Say About Us

Challenge and scrutiny of decisions is robust, rigorous and is always shared respectfully and with the best interests of the children and school at heart. This year more than ever, the values of compassion, care and humility have been much needed. Athena Education have this in abundance. Thank you.

Athena offers a flexible, bespoke service that can be tailored to the requirements of each individual school.  It is wonderful to have such fantastic Early Years knowledge and expertise as this allows for a more in depth and meaningful dialogue around evaluation and school improvement.

After every visit from our Athena Advisor, the current work of the school is accurately evaluated.  The knowledge, skills, experience and understanding of our Advisor has supported School Leaders and Governors to celebrate successes, alongside making required changes if needed, to maintain an outstanding education for all the children in our school.

Ultimately, our move to Athena has ensured a competitive, professional and bespoke service for our school and I cannot emphasise how fantastic the support we receive has been.

The decision to change was made in consultation with the Governing Body of the school, who felt that the extensive range of expertise and experience offered from advisors at Athena would ultimately support us in continuing to move forward. In addition to this there is a named advisor who knows the school and its community well and who is committed to going that “extra mile” to advise and support leadership within school.

The advice and guidance offered by the advisers at Athena has been, and continues to be invaluable. Athena provides bespoke support to leaders at our school which in turn benefits the whole school community and improves outcomes.

Athena have been extremely supportive since we joined them earlier last year, always offering strong and sound advice when needed. The personal approach with our advisor has been very effective, knowing our school in depth and offering relevant guidance and direction for our school.

Athena Education Ltd have provided the school and I with vital support over the last year and I am extremely grateful for their encouragement, advice and knowledge.

One of the main attractions in moving to Athena Education is that the range of advisory support services is extensive, provided by advisors with varied and in-depth knowledge of schools. As a school leader I have confidence that the service provided will be tailored to the needs of my school, well-informed and as up to date as possible. Moreover, visits to school are competitively priced and allow flexibility to forward plan when these are likely to be most effective.

Having worked with Athena for a number of years, we can wholeheartedly recommend the school improvement service that they provide. Their level of expertise is second to none, whilst the ongoing support they have offered our school has been first-class.

The transition over to Athena was seamless and the support offered through the first term of this academic year provided us with a thorough and robust review of the current self-evaluation of our school. This provided a rigorous quality assurance process for the work completed by senior leaders and the Local Governing Board, but also provided us with clear direction for our school improvement work.
